My story as a single mom started at a very young age. At just 18 years old, I gave birth to my beautiful son Kaden. His father and I were high school sweethearts who decided to end our long-term relationship but continue to co-parent our son together.

It is my belief that Kaden was meant to come into the world but the beginning of my journey as a mom was a turbulent one to say the least. I was just starting out and had no idea yet what I wanted to do with my life. I took everyday a step at a time and was so very blessed to have had the love and support of my large family. Without that support system I know things would have been much harder for myself and my child. So many women raise children without the support they need or deserve and still kickass at life and mothering.

I have so much respect for single mothers, and knowing the struggle, I wanted to create a way to give back to the single-mother community I am a proud part of. I am so happy to announce my new passion project: whereby single mothers can apply and friends and loved ones of single mothers can nomination them for a chance to win a free massage with me. I will be picking a new mom each month based on both new and old submissions so stay tuned!
